I am a computer scientist and engineer fascinated with the design, implementation, and deployment of complex distributed systems.
My focus area for over two decades has been data and communication system software for high performance computing. I have the great pleasure of leading a talented team with a strong track record in the development of algorithms and open source software packages for scientific computing.
I also serve in a number of leadership roles within my division at Argonne and in the Department of Energy computing community.
