Welcome to the second “Summer of CODES” Workshop! The purpose of the workshop is to bring together users of the CODES (http://www.mcs.anl.gov/research/projects/codes/) and ROSS (https://github.com/carothersc/ROSS) parallel discrete event simulation toolkits for two days of discussions and presentations of interesting work being done with the simulators. In particular, focus will be placed on presenting current and ongoing research at various levels of completeness with a high degree of interactivity between researchers and the CODES/ROSS teams. Additionally, time will be made for a “hackathon” session as well as talks dedicated to advanced usage of CODES/ROSS.

The workshop will be held on July 12-13 at Argonne National Laboratory, in the Theory of Computing and Sciences (TCS) building, building 240, rooms 1406 and 1407.
